Hasan Spoke Openly of Beheading 'Non-believers' in Front of Colleagues and Supported Suicide as Strategic Victory; Had Ties to 9/11 Hijackers

On a profile of Major Hasan on a neo-conservative website one can view a strange collection of outbursts of his where he seemed to openly support terrorism and make violent threats in public. He also visited the same mosque as 9/11 hijacker Hani Hanjour and at the same time. Mainstream media reported in November that such 'warning signs' were missed by the Army.

From the profile: "he said non-believers should be beheaded and have boiling oil poured down their throats. He also told colleagues at America's top military hospital that non-Muslims were infidels condemned to hell who should be set on fire. The outburst came during an hour-long talk Hasan, an Army psychiatrist, gave on the Qu’ran in front of dozens of other doctors at Walter Reed Army Medical Centre in Washington DC during an environmental seminar in the summer of 2009."

Is it not absurd that this is the type of person the army has freely walking the grounds of a secure army base fully armed?

Isn't it odd that, although we live in a surveillance state where our emails are read and phone conversations are listened to, even though we are harassed at the airport for carrying too much toothpaste, or having long hair, being a musician, or carrying too much money, even though we are fingerprinted and retina scanned, even as we are pouring money into new surveillance technologies, the authorities again and again find it impossible to take pre-emptive action against an individual exhibiting an obvious dangerous profile of islamic militancy?

The 9/11 Hijackers, the Detroit Bomber, the Fort Hood Shooter....Are the authorities, especially the intelligence agencies and the military, incompetent or do they purposely put the public or the military in harms way to further other agendas? The question must be asked.
