Outside The Mainstream, But Right!

(Updated 2/14/10)

A republican Texas gubernatorial candidate "raised eyebrows" in the Washington Post for saying about 9/11 that "the American people have not seen all the evidence."

This is absolutely true.

But nonetheless it's not allowed by the powers that rule our country to say such a thing.

The statement came as a response to a question Glenn Beck made on his show about 9/11. Of course it's not just republicans who get shot down for having trouble believing the official story by cagey gatekeeper-wouldn't be surprised if he were CIA-Glenn Beck as the Van Jones incident tells us.

But it's not even just politicians on the left and right who have problems with the 'official story', but also more then 1000 architects and engineers who have signed a petition to demand a new investigation.

The Washington Post might be 'raising eyebrows' at anyone who questions the official story, but those eyebrows must have been getting a workout over the last couple years since a poll in 2006 showed that only 16% of Americans believed that the Bush administration was telling the truth about 9/11. 81%, let me say it again, 81% of Americans thought the Bush administration was either 'hiding somthing' or 'mostly lying.' But the insiders who control the mainstream newspapers of this country are still raising their eyebrows at most of the country. I'll tell you something. I've been raising my eyebrows about the shitty journalism in mainstream U.S. newspapers for the last decade.

The official investigation into 9/11 was a sham and everyone knows it. It never investigated the funding for 9/11. It never investigated the $100,000 dollars ISI (Pakistani Intelligence with close CIA connections) chief Mahmud Ahmed had sent to 9/11 ringleader Atta. It never investigated the highly improbable complete collapse of a steel skyscraper, WTC Building 7, in less then seven seconds because of a fire. It was the third steel building to collapse into a pile of dust on 9/11. If you have a look at the tenants in this building, you will find it housed the largest CIA office outside of Langley and the largest Secret Service office, as well as the Office of Emergency Management, the IRS, the FBI and the Department of Defence as well as the Securities and Exchange Commission and their Enron and financial fraud records.
The official investigation also ignored information that a military effort entitled Able Danger had Atta and other terrorists in their sights before 9/11 and pentagon lawyers wouldn't allow Able Danger to work with the FBI to take down the cell. In fact as former FBI director Louis Freeh pointed out, the 9/11 Commission went so far as to claim that "American intelligence agencies were unaware of Mr. Atta until the day of the attacks." Mr. Freeh however claims "This now looks to be embarrassingly wrong."
As Mr. Freeh said on Meet the Press "We have now very honorable military officers telling the United States, Tim, that in 2000 not only had Mohammad Atta been identified, by photo and name, but was earmarked as an Al Qaeda operative in the United States..."
In fact retired professor and author David Ray Griffin, as well as calling the 9/11 Commission Report 'a 571-page lie,' has compiled a list of 115 lies and omissions in the report. Even the two co-chairs of the 9/11 commission said that it was 'set up to fail.'

And then there are recent developments like this one, unreported in the U.S., where Danish TV reports on military explosives found in the WTC dust.

And maybe you find it hard to believe elements of your own government might be involved in wrongdoing, but if you put the emotions aside for a moment and look at the facts that have come out over the years, you find that some have been doing alot wrong. Just for starters take a quick glance at this list of CIA evil deeds compiled by the late Steve Kangas. But not only were the CIA supporting dictators and overthrowing democracies over the years, they were also smuggling drugs. They have their own wikipedia page for CIA drug trafficking, They also have one for drug smuggling as part of Iran-Contra. And more up to date here is a Daily Kos article about a CIA torture plane crashing with several tons of cocaine onboard. Then take a look at this article about an historic drug seizure from a plane which nets 30 pounds of heroin. According to Daniel Hopsicker the plane belonged to Wally Hilliard. Who is that? Happens to be the guy who owned the flight school where 9/11 terrorist ringleader Mohammed Atta received his training. Hopsicker claims in this article the reason the terrorists were shielded from investigations was because they were part of "an officially-protected cocaine and heroin trafficking network with ties to top political figures, including Republican officials Jeb Bush and Katherine Harris."

And add to the mix as well the unsettling revelation that the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff once had submitted a proposal to President Kennedy, Operation Northwoods, which called for "Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) or other operatives to commit genuine acts of terrorism in U.S. cities and elsewhere. These acts of terrorism were to be blamed on Cuba in order to create public support for a war against that nation." If Kennedy hadn't rejected those proposals, they would have very likely been carried out.

But don't listen to me. I'm one of those conspiracy theorists Cass Sunstein has been warning you about. Keep on bombing the Middle East. Oh, by the way, did you notice the economy is up the creek without a paddle as well? When it rains it pours, doesn't it? It's called corruption and it likes its own kind.
